The Isle o' Tor

This was my main project from my Honours year in University. Using Celtic lore, Fishing lore and a handful of Scottish birds. I've made myself a world in which they exist. Each bird has its own Clan and their own lore.

Beira is a Scottish Goddess in Celtic lore. I'm using her directly in this world.

Beira is said to have had Maidens and Hags to aid her, the owls fill that role. In Celtic lore it says all Owls are female and so our Owls are also all female.

Beira has a love for the Red Deer in Scotland, she protects them. She also has antlered sons. Which is why the Owls have a variety of horns.
